We know planning a wedding can be stressful, but designing your wedding cake shouldn’t be! Our wedding consultation and tasting will guide you in selecting a cake that suits your style and budget. We work with each bride and groom to make their wedding cake unique – it can include beautiful personalized details like sugar flowers to match the bride’s bouquet or ribbons and lace-work to match the bride’s wedding dress.
Prices start at $7.00/person for round/square cakes; final price depends on level of decorative detail.
Design Consultation and Tasting
Your consultation is the most fun because you will get to try flavor/filling combinations and see some design options we will have prepared for you based on feedback from our initial discussion. Bookings are made on a first come, first pay basis. We are a boutique pastry shop and are limited in the number of events we can handle each week. For more information on cake flavors and fillings click here.
There is a non-refundable $25 fee for the tasting, which includes 3-4 different cake/filling combinations. The amount paid for this tasting will be applied towards your wedding order, should you decide to book with us. If you need to reschedule or are running over 15 minutes late to our appointment, as a courtesy, please call as soon as possible to reschedule.
When you are ready to order your wedding cake, we will fill out an order form/contract. A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date. There are several payment options, which we will discuss during our consultation.
Additional Considerations and Information
- Do I have any inspirational items to bring to the consultation that will assist with the design of my cake?
- Does my guest size include enough for photographer, band members, etc.? We usually recommend getting enough cake for about 75% of your guests if there will be alcohol or other dessert provided (i.e. scoop of ice cream) by the venue. This may vary if children are attending or if there are more sweets being provided.
- Have I considered saving my cake top for our first anniversary?
- Who will be the point of contact where the cake will be delivered and who will sign for the cake upon delivery?
